At the center is GOD,
represented by the triangle.
HE IS THE FOCUS of
who we are and who we
are called to be. No
doctrine, creed, culture,
or tradition can take His
place.  HIS PRESENCE
enables us to exist, and
we, in return, make Him
visible as we live our
lives in Him. We make
him known! WE ARE IN
COVENANT WITH HIM!
THE DESCENDING
DOVE is a symbol
meant to further
identify God as very
present, not
restricted to the
focal point; gently
present, loving,
giving, empowering;
freely present,
unassuming and
unpredictable.
(The figure of this dove is reproduced from the artistry of the wooden dove carved by a Charter Member, Claude
Speaks, received November 12, 1967, who died May 15, 1986.  This is the dove mounted above the baptismal in
the sanctuary.

The Covenant Church Of Schaumburg
THE BODY OF CHRIST at worship, in fellowship, receiving and serving is represented by
the three arm-like radiations from the focal triangle. Out of Him we move and live and
have our being! Each arm is a double extension reaching out in all directions, receiving
and giving. All who would find are welcome here. The connection of each arm to the
other, forming the visible symbol of God, is a statement of our Covenant of love for one
another, HE BECOMES VISIBLE to others in our life as long as we are in such a
relationship with one another. Anything less hinders our call to Make God Known!
