| Covenant Church provides numerous opportunities for fellowship. Our members, friends, and families take pleasure in creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Many of us are very active in groups that meet on a regular basis: Covenant Women, Ministries, Bible Studies, Church Choir, the Church Board, and our Jr./Sr. High Youth Groups. All of these groups foster a genuine sense of "belonging" and provide a catalyst for thoughtful discussion, interaction and true fellowship. In addition to these regular groups, our church families can avail themselves to a great variety of special activities that involve all ages. Activities have included theater, music and sports outings, church picnics, Palm Sunday Brunch, and Men's Breakfasts. The men also have joined together as "The Heartbreakers" to create a Valentine's Day program for the women. Our Sankta Lucia Festival in December highlights our Swedish heritage in music, food, and our Scandinavian Boutique. In January we once again celebrate "Sallskapet", the Swedish term for "fellowship". |
